Our approach

We prescribe both stimulant and non-stimulant medications. Our approach is centred on safe, evidence-based care tailored to each person's needs, preferences and clinical profile. Following assessment, we work collaboratively with you to explore treatment options, ensuring any medication is suitable, effective and closely monitored.

Stimulant medication

Often considered first-line treatment and can be highly effective in reducing core symptoms such as inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity.

Non-stimulant options

Where stimulants are not suitable, tolerated or preferred. These can be particularly helpful for people with coexisting conditions or specific risk factors.

All prescribing decisions follow national clinical standards, with careful consideration of benefits, side effects and monitoring. Our goal is a balanced, patient-focused pathway that integrates medication, education and, where appropriate, broader therapeutic support.

Diagnosed elsewhere?

We can also prescribe for people diagnosed with ADHD by another clinic, provided the diagnosis is NICE and DSM-5 compliant.
