Before your appointment
It all starts with a free, no-pressure telephone chat. We talk through your concerns and help you choose the most suitable pathway. You will then receive digital screening forms by email.
- Rating scales for you or your child, and someone who knows you well
- A developmental history
- School or teacher questionnaires when assessing a child
- Background and wellbeing information
On the day
All assessments and clinical appointments take place in person at our Wellbeing Clinic, 124 Thorpe Road, Norwich. The diagnostic interview is a calm, supportive conversation about history, strengths and challenges, attention, routines, emotional wellbeing and how difficulties affect life at home, work or school.
For adults
We focus on how traits affect your daily life now, alongside evidence they were present earlier — even if nobody noticed at the time.
For children
We gather information from parents, carers and school, and use age-appropriate observation and tools. Younger children may like to bring something familiar.
Arrive well rested and having eaten, wear any glasses or hearing aids you usually use, and avoid sparkly or reflective clothing, which can interfere with motion tracking.
